The Eighth Commodity Exhibition Opens In Amman

The Eighth China Commodity Fair opened on 19 July at the International Automobile Exhibition Centre in Amman, Jordan.

More than 400 Chinese companies unveiled this exhibition, involving machinery, new energy, chemicals, building materials, clothing, food and so on.

Entrepreneurs from various provinces and cities in China, as well as entrepreneurs from Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine and other countries and regions, attended the opening ceremony.

In a speech at the opening ceremony, Yue Xiaoyong said that in recent years, with the common concern of the leaders of China and the two countries, China is about friendly.

The bilateral trade volume of China and Jordan increased by 32.3% in the first 7 months of 2011, and China's imports from Jordan increased by 123%, indicating the great potential for development of mutually beneficial and friendly cooperation between the two sides.

He said that the China Commodity exhibition is the largest exhibition held in Jordan and its surrounding countries and regions, reflecting the characteristics of Jordan as a regional logistics center and business center.

It is believed that the entrepreneurs of the two countries will continue to tap the potential of cooperation, open up new cooperation projects and fields, and promote bilateral economic and trade cooperation with each other on the basis of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation so as to promote the deepening of friendly cooperation in all fields and benefit the people of the two countries and regions.

In his speech, Zohar said that the Chinese commodities exhibition was held in Jordan for eighth consecutive years. It not only provided opportunities for cooperation between enterprises in China and Jordan and neighboring countries, but also promoted the sustained and healthy development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

He said that China's commodities were welcomed by the Jordanian people with its high quality and low price. It is hoped that more Chinese enterprises and investors will come to Jordan to find business opportunities and expand the market, and on the other hand increase their imports of Jordanian products.

According to the exhibition organizer Pan Jianjun, the scale and exhibition of the exhibition will be introduced.

Number of enterprises

All of them have reached the highest level in history. More than 400 Chinese enterprises from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Anhui and other provinces and cities participated in the exhibition.

Since 2004, China's commodity exhibition has been held in Amman for eight consecutive years.

The exhibition area is 12 thousand square meters, which is divided into thirteen different exhibition areas, including textile and clothing, building materials, automobiles and parts, machinery and equipment. There are 450 booths.
